Only 5 players were able to pick more than half the games correctly, and nobody picked more than 1 upset correctly, and there were only 3 anyway -- Jets, Indy, and Washington, and nobody picked Washington or Indy. But Terry earns the top spot with 9 points, and Tom trails with 4. 4! Ouch. On the season board, Terry moves up a notch, trading places with Jacob. Tom and Jim also trade places, with Jim moving up 4 and Tom, well, you do the math. Natalie sneaks up 1 to tie Caroline. |

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread).
Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
