Not a great week overall for our pickers, but Emma manages to eke out a 75% pick percentage on her way to a weekly victory, which boosts her up a spot to number five in the season standings. A less than stellar week for Dusty leaves him vulnerable to Ken and Hungry Susan, both of whom catch him to make a three-way tie for second place. Welcome to David, who makes a good first week showing, coming in only two points behind the leader! Ben, Tyler, and Luke also make good positive moves on the season standings board, so congrats to them as well. Tom also takes advantage of Dusty's stumble by re-gaining some of the gap he'd lost last week, and remains solidly in first place. |

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread).
Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
