| Week 10 was a great week. For Clara, anyway. She picked 75% of the games correctly, while her best competitors could only do 56%. I believe we had 5 players above 50%, 4 at 50% and 6 below 50%. With all the low spreads, it was apparently hard to pick the games correctly. Clara's performance rocketed her up 5 places in the season standings to 7th place. Jeff managed to pick 6 upsets correctly, besting all others, which made him stand out from all the others who picked 9 games correctly. That brings him up 3 spots on the season, into a 4 way tie for 7th (including Clara). |

| Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread). |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
