It's "theory vs. practice" -- in theory there are 46 pts available. In practice, there will likely be fewer awarded. I believe that the Pats will win, because they are the best coached, best QB'd, and overall best team out there. But I also expected that outcome in years that they lost :-) Will I pick them to win in the SB, assuming they make it that far? It will likely depend on my standing in the pool, vs. pts available one way or the other. As Susan will attest, I have no problem picking one team in the pool but rooting for another.
