Condolences to my friends in Mudville. You do live in the land of "wait
'til next year", so look on down the road.

The *Denver Post* headline this morning was "Hi, Five-0" and the photo was
the Broncos two wide receivers doing confetti angels on the field. We also
had a guest editorial by a *Boston Globe* sports writer, who decried the
Pats inability to win a playoff game on the road. If only you had not lost
the no. 1 seed in Miami in week 17...That same writer said that the Broncos
aren't even a good team, and will be cannon fodder for the Panthers. But I
trust that my disappointed Patriot lovers will still remain AFC loyalists
for the Super Bowl.
