Ben evidently had a theory that week 1 is unpredictable,
and the Vegas favorites don't mean much.  Works pretty well.

Tom's formula survives the above.

My casual approach continues unproductive and frustrating.

Knowshon Moreno wreaks havoc for Miami. So, will
his replacement at Denver do the any less against
Miami's victim team? [?]

The Broncos play one strong half, and survive the second.
We'll take it.

Univ. of Colorado (CU) always likes to play big name teams out of their
league.
Last year they joined the PAC-12 and got pounded. So in this years
'preseason'
the Denver sports press is discouraged that CU trailed most of the game,
and
barely beat "the woeful Minutemen of UMass" at Foxborough Saturday.
It's CU that is woeful. I heard a news item that the combining of the
states
of Nebraska and Colorado is being considered. Nebraska would get mountains,
and Colorado would get a (college) football team.
