| Week 7: We have a couple of Genius Picks (tm) to report this week -- Donna with the Jets and David with San Diego! Congrats, folks! Also notable, the Seattle/Arizona game apparently ended in a tie!? We don't see that very often. In more mundane news, Emma wins the week again, but at least this time she has Caroline for company! There's a Gang of Four tied for 3rd place, including Luke who puts further distance between himself and archrival Susan. The Rice Family Poolers both manage to step up two notches on the season, while Tom slides all the way to the bottom. David jumps up 3 places, trading with Tom; pretty impressive as David missed an entire week earlier this season! |

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread).
Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
