| Week 16: Emma and David K somehow have the Magic this week, and make nearly identical picks (differing in just two games) to come out on top with identical results: 14 points, with three correct upsets. Ben and Michael share a near-genius pick this week, with the seven point underdog pick Indy. David K's result boosts him back into a tie for first place with Tom, setting the stage for a Week 17 Showdown! There appears to be no "Donna Syndrome" this year. Tom would *appear* to have the Family trophy sewn up (famous last words!), and David K looks to be hard to beat for the Friends trophy. But the singing will wait until next Sunday evening. Will Luke and Susan choose a desperation strategy in an attempt to overtake their rivals? Will David K and Tom try to "play it safe?" Tune in next Sunday afternoon to find out!! |

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread).
Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
