| Week 15: Ben jumps on the "Pick Every Upset!" bandwagon, as he is wont to do near the end of the season, and it pays off with a first place finish and sixteen points. That fine finish moves him up four places on the leaderboard, which is a big move at this point in the season. Will Ben be able to re-create Donna's finish from a few years back? Ben's upward push, combined with Emma's three place move, shove Clara back down two spots to number nine, number nine, number nine, number nine, number nine. But she's in good company with her Auntie Donna. Meanwhile back at the top of the 'board, Luke suffers a minor fall from grace, allowing Tom to reclaim his "rightful" spot, and somehow this week, David K just can't keep up. Five points separate the top four spots (hi honey!), then just eight points between number five and number eleven. Two tight races going on -- will there be trades between those groups in the remaining two weeks? |

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread). Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
