| Week 14: Terry's reversal of strategy leads to a reversal of fortune. Picking all the favorites was definitely a winning strategy this week. Also interesting, there were only 2 upsets and 2 home team losses. Sheldon and George manage to tie for first with Terry while getting one of the upsets correct. Luke was in the lead for the week for a while, having gotten both of the upsets (which were both early games) correct, and he, Tyler, and Michael end up just one point behind 1st place. On the season leaderboard, Luke's fine performance combined with a poor showing by DavidK and Tom, allow Luke to climb into sole ownership of first. Beyond that, there wasn't much shuffling that occurred this week. |

Scoring: Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread). Deadlines: It is in your interest to make your picks accurately and get them in on time. Late submissions may be allowed at the discretion of the poolmaster; changes in picks, after the submission deadline, are not allowed. |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
