| Week 3: Being one of the few to *believe* in Seattle (hah!), Tom catapults into first place for the week and the season. Prior to the MNF game, Jacob had been holding fast to first place for the week. Jacob's excellent showing, however rockets him up nine places in the season standings -- Wow! A rough week for Poor Susan, who notes that she "didn't have enough time to agonize properly" over her picks. |

| Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread). |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
