| Unpredictable. I think that's the word that sums up this past week more than any other, at least judging by our pool results. Ken gets the picker of the week award, at 62%. Only 7 of us picked more than half the games right. The range of correct picks was between 5 and 8, which is a pretty small range. Anyway, upsets were apparently also hard to pick this week, but Tom comes up with 4 correct ones to earn the top spot of the week with 11 points. Emma, Jeff, and Ken share #2 with 10. On the season, Tom, Ben, Emma, and Jeff all move up 2 spots. Along with Ken's one slot shift, that creates a three-way tie for first. Look out, Mark! |

| Each correct pick earns you a point. In addition to that, each correct underdog pick earns you a bonus point. Underdogs are indicated by the presence of a number next to the team name on the pick sheet, representing the number of points that they are expected to lose by (point spread). |

The winner at the end of the regular season gets their name engraved on the plaque of the trophy. The previous year's winner is responsible for getting the plaque updated, and the trophy mailed to the new winner in a timely fashion. Mark and Rosa have set the bar very high for turnaround time here.
Note: only family members are eligible for the family trophy. Other invited players are eligible for the "Family and Friends" trophy.
While we do run a pool for the postseason, there is no prize other than the honor of winning. |
